HANSENS FABRIC SHOP / the third of three public service projects


 +ANCIENT CASTLES+
>filled with atmosphere heightened by candles<
>in huge candelabra and complex wall murals<
>w/ intricate carved wood ceilings overhead<
+(CHIAROSCURO RADIANCE)+
>as they did balthus in his chalet near gruyere<
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
 +PABLO PICASSO+
>balthus talented dynamic friend also<
>painted in a variety of castles he<
+(POWER NODES)+
>purchased in the south of france<

>balthus (count balthazar de rolla) w/ his wife<
>setsuko was a famed painter w/ a love for<
+ANCIENT HISTORY+
>and the knights templar, so much that he<
>occasionally wore the templar robes<
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
>the castles and chalet of balthus, like those<
>of picasso, provided a powerful setting for<
+(MAGIC MISE-EN-SCENE)+
>the creation of his world famed oeuvre<
