I thought you might be interested in this little synchronicity that just happened about an hour ago. The words "COLBROOK CANYON" arrived through an inexplicable twist of events so I decided to Google it, and the ONLY thing listed on the internet with those two words, spelled that way, together (the entire search term in parentheses) is an article in a February, 1971 issue of the Arcadia, Calilfornia newspaper.
